Hey yall, didnt know you had a forum, was looking at the site trying to see if you had replacement batteries for your lights. My light is doing fine, but i have had it for 3 years now and know that someday the batteries are going to weaken, but really i was thinking of a spare to put in my pack to swap out when tracking. I use my lght religously, I am very hard core archery hunter and where i hunt there isnt nothing but forests, southern missouri, Often my walk into and out of the woods can be from 30 minutes to an hour in the dark, add tracking time to find a deer and i could be out half the night. I have the 12 volt, NiMH with the 5100 head? on it and use a soft cap. anyhow, here is my testimonial, i dont ever want to be without it. it is fantastic, It leaves my hands free to carry my stuff or move limbs out of my way, just a great light, and it is not heavy and/or big and cumbersome, i dont have it hanging on anything. i had just walked out of the woods last weekend and took this pic when i got back to my truck from bow hunting...sadly i have not killed myself a big buck yet. I am always seeing where fellow hunters are asking about lights for tracking and i alway send them here or tell about my light. hope the pic works.

Oh yeah, there is just something about walking around in the woods at night that makes you feel all good inside isnt there? one of my favorite things while hunting. walking in the dark, stop and listen to the coyotes, jump deer, been in the woods for 40 yrs now starting with dad, and dont know how i would survive without my hunting. been a lot of years since i have been out with coon dogs, but that is probably what got me to liking the woods at night in the first place..gonna have to find me a partner who has ogs and go running agian some time.
